what  is  a postpartum doula?

As your postpartum doula, I will work with your family as you transition into your life with a brand new human! My job is to assist the birthing person, as well as their partner and/or children in ways that will make this overwhelming process a lot easier to handle. This can range from:

  • lactation support

  • infant care

  • light cleaning and laundry

  • bubble time for parents

  • assistance with meals and snacks

  • medical resources and referrals

your future postpartum doula

I'm Tanaé and I can't wait to get to know you and your family! As someone who is passionate about helping others and as a birthing person myself, I know how significant it is to make sure we eliminate as much stress and hardship as possible during the oh-so-vulnerable postpartum period. You are experiencing so many things at once on the inside and in your household right now. My mother acting as my doula allowed me to focus only on making sure that me and my baby were well-rested, eating adequately, and healthy. I had an amazing postpartum period because of this, and I want to provide that same experience to others. You deserve it! I look forward to helping you lay the foundation to a healthy, happy, and stable beginning for your new bundle of joy.
